Being confined to my bed is frustrating as hell, it’s been 2 days since I've spoken to Khan and Rip and I'm still in fucking bed, although I can move around more freely now. But it feels like I've lost 2 days where I could be spending them making memories with Serena.

I hobble down the stairs in search of Jesús and I find him sat outside on the veranda. His head snaps up in my direction and smiles. “Ah I see you’ve been allowed out.”

I let out a groan and take a seat. “Yeah, well she's in the shower and I made a break for it before she could order me back into bed.”

“And you chose to come see me, I am honoured mi amigo, but I am also not estúpido. What can I help you with?” he asks, taking a sip of his tea.

“I need a place for Serena and I to stay until we head back to Texas, somewhere that it can be just us. I want it to be memorable,” I state.

He nods. “Si, I have a villa on the beach. You can stay there.”

“There’s one more thing. I need a lawyer to finalise my will and I need him today,” I say bluntly.

He raises his brow. “You dying?”

“No, just preparing for the future that’s all,” I answer vaguely.

Jesús nods. “Like I said mi amigo, I am not estúpido so do not try and play me that way. I'm guessing your club did not appreciate you asking for my help.”

“You could say that,” I agree.

“How long do you have?”

“8 days,” I answer.

“You know I could hide you both, I could give you both a life together. You don’t have to do this,” he offers.

“Thank you for that, but they are my family, my life. I knew what my actions would cause, I have far too much respect for Rip and the club. I didn’t come here for myself, I came here for her. I am not about to make her leave everything she loves behind.”

“But you're expecting her to let you do this, you know as well as I do mi hermana does not give up on the people she loves,” he points out.

“She doesn’t love me. She likes me a lot, she cares about me a lot. I'm not upset by this, she's been through enough. I love her, I have her and that’s enough for me.”

“You're an honourable hombre, un hombre estúpido. Most would take the offer and run with their woman. But not you, you're giving up your happiness for loyalty and respect, that makes you a better hombre than me, still estúpido though,” Jesús says shaking his head. “I will have my lawyer here within the hour, and a driver waiting to take you to the villa this afternoon.”

“I appreciate that, thank you.” I hold my hand out for him to shake. He looks at it for a moment before reciprocating.

“What's going on?” Serena asks coming to stand behind me.

“Jesús has offered us
